US President Donald Trump defended earning approximately US$1.2 billion from his family's cryptocurrency activities in 2025, stating that "everybody's profiting" due to the rising stock market. These cryptocurrency activities contributed significantly to the near tripling of Trump's personal fortune, which increased from US$2.3 billion in 2024 to US$6.5 billion in 2026, according to Forbes.
