A man in his 30s, employed as a contract worker at a school in Adelaide Hills, Australia, has appeared in court charged with two counts of indecent assault involving two female students. The alleged assaults occurred on separate occasions between April 2025 and May 2026.
Court documents viewed by ABC allege that one girl was indecently assaulted between April 1 and July 10, 2025, while the other was assaulted in April 2026. Due to a suppression order, the man's identity has not been disclosed.
Police were called to the school on April 27, 2026, following reports that a student had allegedly been assaulted by a contractor working at the site. Mr Raison, commenting on the case, noted that "on a very preliminary view of the facts of charge, it appears that identification may be … an issue."
Magistrate Kathryn Hodder ordered the suppression of the man's identity and indicated that this order will be reviewed at the next court appearance, scheduled for November 2026. It has also been stated that the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
