Jeff Foxworthy, a comedian known for connecting with everyday Americans, told Fox News Digital that Hollywood has not understood its audience in a long time. He expressed that regardless of political views or location, people largely agree on what they want out of life — about 85% of the same things, including love, family care, and entertainment.

Foxworthy criticized the focus on differences rather than commonalities, saying, "But what happened was, instead of celebrating the 85% that we're all alike, we yell and scream at each other over the 15% that we’re different. Being different is fine. It would be boring as hell if we were all alike and all thought the same way."

He also shared insights into the craft of stand-up comedy, noting that creating a 60-minute special requires a year of hard work. Reflecting on his career, Foxworthy said, "I've been on tour since 1984, you know? It just never stopped. I still love stand-up."

Foxworthy revealed that the "Blue Collar Tour" was born out of a desire to reach the 200 million people he felt Hollywood overlooked. He emphasized that many people relate to the struggles of family life, stating, "‘Oh, it's not just me. Other people, other people's families are as screwed up as ours,’ you know?"

His comments underscore a perceived gap between Hollywood and the values of regular Americans.
