The Los Angeles Dodgers are scheduled to visit the White House on July 23 to celebrate their back-to-back World Series championships, the White House confirmed to Fox News Digital. This visit follows their historic achievement as the first team since the New York Yankees (1998-2000) to win consecutive Fall Classics.

The team’s visit is planned for an off day between series in Philadelphia and New York. White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers stated, "President Trump is excited to welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers BACK to the White House to celebrate their World Series championship!"

The Dodgers secured their latest title after a dramatic Game 7 comeback against the Toronto Blue Jays, winning in 11 innings. The visit continues a tradition for the team, with notable players like outfielder Mookie Betts attending last year after previously opting out of a similar trip in 2019. Betts expressed regret for missing the earlier visit, which also saw manager Alex Cora and pitcher David Price abstain, citing concerns about being a distraction.

However, the upcoming visit has faced some opposition, including an online petition from the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) urging the team not to attend.

This event follows the Dodgers’ previous White House ceremony held on April 7, 2025, where players including Shohei Ohtani and Clayton Kershaw met with President Trump.
