A man was arrested shortly after throwing a Molotov cocktail at another man in a wheelchair near the Oklahoma City Police headquarters, authorities confirmed.
Surveillance footage captured the incident on July 2 around 8 a.m., showing the victim crossing a street diagonally before the unidentified suspect approached, appeared to light an incendiary device, and threw it at the man in the wheelchair. The victim was briefly surrounded by flames but suffered only minor injuries and was treated at a hospital, with an expected full recovery.
The suspect was apprehended moments after the attack and faces multiple felony charges, including assault with intent to kill and assault and battery with a deadly weapon, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department.
