Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children visited King Charles and Queen Camilla at the King’s private residence, Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, on Friday afternoon, July 10th, 2026. This was their first meeting in over four years, since Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and relocated to Montecito, California.

Buckingham Palace confirmed the reunion, describing it as a “private family occasion,” according to the BBC. During the visit, King Charles spent time with his grandchildren, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, marking a notable step forward for the royal family.

Prince William and his family were notably absent from the gathering. The Prince of Wales was participating in a charity polo match in Windsor at the time. Reports indicate that the relationship between the brothers remains strained, with no plans for a meeting during Harry’s stay in the UK.

This visit also marked the first time Harry’s wife and children accompanied him to the UK since 2022, when they attended Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
