An Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) staff attorney is under review following a viral TikTok video in which she urged Americans to refuse compliance with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and make their lives "miserable." The video, reshared by Libs of TikTok on X last week, features Shannon (Hoyle) Desherow, who criticized conservatives for advising citizens to "just comply" with ICE and questioned the agency's jurisdiction over U.S. citizens.

Desherow, a University of Central Oklahoma graduate (2016) and University of Oklahoma College of Law graduate (2020), stated in the video: "It’s not good enough for the f---ing Fourth Amendment," and claimed that ICE warrants are mostly administrative and lack sufficient legal authority. She further said, "ICE has no authority and no jurisdiction over U.S. citizens. So why the f--- would I comply with an order given to me at gunpoint by somebody who has no f---ing authority to make that order? I’m not going to. That’s the f---ing thing."

The video has sparked a state review by the OSBI. A spokesperson for the agency told Fox News Digital that they "have been made aware of the post and are looking into it." Additionally, the Department of Homeland Security issued a sharp response to the video.

This incident comes amid broader national debates over ICE policies and enforcement, with the Department of Justice recently filing a lawsuit against Virginia over new anti-ICE laws. Meanwhile, concerns about national security are heightened as the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) faces expiration due to congressional inaction.
