A North Carolina judge reportedly issued an arrest order on Monday, July 13, 2026, for Jen Belichick, daughter-in-law of New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, after she allegedly failed to appear in court over a speeding violation.

Jen Belichick, who is married to Steve Belichick, defensive coordinator for the North Carolina Tar Heels football team, was stopped by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol on May 21, 2026, for allegedly driving 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in Brunswick County, according to court records cited by the California Post.

She was cited for misdemeanor speeding and was scheduled to appear in court on a Friday, but did not attend, prompting the arrest order. A court official told the California Post that Jen Belichick now has three options to address the situation.

Jen and Steve Belichick have been married for about 10 years and have multiple children together. Steve Belichick also serves as linebackers coach for the New England Patriots.

Separately, Jen Belichick criticized a decision to cut off an interview question during a May 2025 CBS News interview with Bill Belichick.

No official comment has been made by Jen Belichick regarding the arrest order. Fox News Digital reached out to a Brunswick County clerk for comment.
