Standing outside the White House on Executive Avenue, Trump witnessed an INDYCAR pit stop demonstration and highlighted the event as an "awesome display of American patriotism and raw horsepower ingenuity."

Roger Penske announced that more than 250,000 people have signed up to attend the historic race, which will feature INDYCAR racers capable of speeds exceeding 200 mph. The racecourse is a 1.7-mile, seven-turn circuit with a 0.4-mile front stretch along Pennsylvania Avenue near the White House.

Trump emphasized the unprecedented nature of the event, noting that cars will race at speeds over 190 mph down Pennsylvania Avenue and around the National Mall. He joked that such speeds during regular hours might lead to severe legal consequences.
