BANGKOK — At the Nikkei Asia Forum APAC 2026 held on Thursday, July 16, Sony Group Executive Chairman Kenichiro Yoshida underscored the significance of "connectedness," or close human relationships, as a defining force shaping Asia. Yoshida remarked that this human element remains vital even as artificial intelligence (AI) continues to make swift progress across society.

Speaking in Bangkok, Yoshida stressed that AI technology is intended to enhance and support creators rather than replace them, highlighting the complementary role of technology alongside human interaction.
