Singaporean actress Fann Wong, 55, has shared how her perspective on health and weight has evolved dramatically over the years. Once upset if her weight exceeded 49kg, Wong revealed in a recent interview on Chinese-language radio station UFM100.3's The Play Show that she no longer owns a weighing scale.

"Sometimes I get bloated, and muscle also makes us weigh more. Looking at the number alone isn't accurate, so I threw my scale away," Wong said. She admitted to a past obsession with maintaining what she considered the "perfect" figure, recounting periods during filming when her meals were limited to sliced fish soup and times when she rinsed oil off vegetables.

Wong also explained that in earlier magazine cover shoots, achieving the best look depended entirely on posing and camera angles rather than digital retouching. Today, she emphasizes the importance of having enough energy to enjoy everyday life rather than chasing a specific number on the scale.

This change reflects a broader shift in Wong's relationship with her body, prioritizing strength and vitality over weight.
