Donald Trump’s media company announced on Thursday, July 16th, 2026, a new service called Truth PSI that will charge for special high-speed access to posts on Truth Social, including potentially those from Trump himself. This service aims to provide Wall Street trading firms and other institutions with millisecond-level early access to news from top Truth Social contributors, enabling them to potentially profit from subsequent movements in stocks, bonds, and interest rates.

The move has sparked criticism amid concerns over national security and financial market fairness. Kathleen Clark, a government conflict-of-interest expert at Washington University School of Law, stated, “He’s selling expedited, privileged access to information about what he is doing as president. It’s yet more brazen misconduct, an improper exploitation of government power to enrich himself.”

Truth PSI follows other paid access offerings on rival platforms but is notable because the most popular Truth Social poster is President Trump, who, as the largest shareholder of the publicly traded parent company, stands to benefit directly.

In recent months, Trump has used Truth Social to announce major decisions and share opinions on issues such as the Iran war, tariffs, and the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement crackdown in American cities. These posts have significant market implications, especially those related to Iran, as investors worry about rising oil prices fueling inflation and prompting the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates.

The Trump family company declined to comment on whether the new feature profits from the presidency. Meanwhile, scrutiny has increased following Trump’s financial disclosures showing over $1 billion in revenue last year from related companies and offerings, including new family crypto businesses that have also incurred investor losses.
