An Iranian general has issued a stark warning that no border will be safe if US military strikes continue beyond the next few days. Major General Mohsen Rezaei, former head of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, stated on July 18, 2026, that Iran will move into "full-scale offensive operations" unless the US ends its strikes soon.

This warning came just hours before Iran reportedly launched missile strikes on US military targets in Kuwait and Jordan. The Jordanian military confirmed that its air defense systems intercepted and shot down 10 Iranian missiles that had entered Jordanian airspace targeting the Kingdom's territory. The missile barrage was neutralized without causing any casualties or material damage.

Meanwhile, the US military stated that its recent strikes targeted Iran's surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage, and maritime capabilities. The Pentagon also rejected Tehran's claims that two oil tankers exploded near the Strait of Hormuz.

The Kuwaiti army reported facing missile and drone attacks attributed to Iran's aggression and warned that explosions might be heard due to ongoing hostilities.
