Levi Wallace, 31, has announced his retirement from the NFL after an eight-year career that began when he signed as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama. Wallace, who played for the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers, made a name for himself as a reliable cornerback, accumulating 12 interceptions during his time in the league.

Wallace’s football journey started at Alabama, where he joined the team as a walk-on in 2014 under coach Nick Saban. After two years on the scout team, he earned a scholarship for the 2016 season and became a key starter on the Crimson Tide defense during their National Championship-winning 2017 season.

Last season, Wallace was with the Jacksonville Jaguars but spent the year on injured reserve without appearing in any games. He announced his retirement on Instagram, captioning his post simply, "Walk-on."

Throughout his career, Wallace played in notable venues such as Highmark Stadium in New York and Allegiant Stadium in Nevada, facing teams like the Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, and Tennessee Titans.
