A 63-year-old man identified as Keith Jonathan Webster from the Bronx crashed through the wooden gate of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's East Hampton home on Wednesday afternoon, July 16th, 2026, according to police reports obtained by Fox News Digital. A witness reported seeing Webster driving at "a high rate of speed up the driveway" and not stopping until he broke down the gate and entered the driveway, causing "significant front end damage" to the gate.
Webster was charged with felony criminal mischief in the second degree and misdemeanor criminal trespass in the third degree. During processing, he revealed an injury and was transported to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. After treatment, he was released back into police custody.
According to the East Hampton Press, Webster appeared "disorientated" during his arraignment on Thursday, July 17th, 2026, and was subsequently taken to Stony Brook University Hospital’s mental health facility for evaluation.
