Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, were arrested on Saturday, July 19th, 2026, in Miami by U.S. Marshals acting under a sealed warrant. The arrests were made pursuant to extradition proceedings initiated by British prosecutors who have announced dozens of new criminal charges against the brothers.

The UK’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has approved a total of 59 charges against Andrew and Tristan Tate, covering alleged crimes committed between 2010 and 2017. Andrew Tate faces 42 charges, while Tristan Tate faces 17. The charges include rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and offenses involving alleged indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.

Bedfordshire Police confirmed the arrests in connection with a UK police investigation into alleged sexual offenses dating back to 2012. The brothers were already facing 21 charges in a separate case prior to these new allegations.

A Justice Department spokesperson stated that the arrests were made in accordance with treaties and law enforcement agreements governing extraditions. The brothers currently await extradition proceedings to the UK.
