Kai Trump, President Donald Trump’s eldest granddaughter and a competitive golfer for the University of Miami Women’s Golf team, revealed her diet and fitness secrets that helped her achieve six-pack abs after recovering from wrist surgery.

In an interview with Fox News Digital on July 21, 2026, the 19-year-old athlete shared that she maintains a protein-packed diet, consuming around 150 grams of protein daily despite weighing 120 pounds. She emphasized starting her day with about 40 grams of protein through a shake or similar source to ensure it is in her system early. "So, if I run or I'm doing something crazy, at least I had that. I got that protein in," she said.

Kai also follows a gluten-free and dairy-free diet and avoids eggs due to a slight allergy. She described her meal preferences, stating, "I would be totally fine eating steak for the rest of my life, or just chicken and rice, which is weird to some people, but I like it."

Her healthy lifestyle, instilled in part by her mother Vanessa Trump, who is "in great shape," helped her bounce back after wrist surgery temporarily sidelined her from golf. Don Trump Jr.'s oldest child credited her regimen of sustainable carbohydrates and frequent workouts for her fitness success.

Kai Trump continues to fuel her golf game with clean meals and a disciplined fitness routine, demonstrating resilience and dedication as a college athlete.
