At least nine mass shootings erupted over the weekend across the United States, leaving nine people dead and at least 60 wounded, authorities reported.

The shootings took place in Colorado, Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Arizona, Tennessee, and Minnesota (two incidents).

Notable incidents include a shooting in the parking lot of the Ultra Lounge nightclub in southeast Denver, Colorado, which occurred around 1 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026. This incident left one person dead and eight injured, all hospitalized in serious but stable condition, according to the Denver Police Department and Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas.

Earlier, officers responded around 12:31 a.m. to a shooting during a party at the Dos Cinco restaurant in Denver's historic Capitol Hill district.

In Jackson, Tennessee, more than 100 people were gathered at Savannah Williams Park on Sunday night when gunfire erupted, Madison County Sheriff Julian Wiser said. The shooting appears to be gang-related, and investigators believe it may be connected to a prior gun violence incident. "All we know is they pulled up to the corner, got out and just opened fire randomly at the victims," Sheriff Wiser said.

Another shooting occurred around 2 a.m. local time in downtown Tucson, Arizona, as the streets were crowded with people enjoying a night out, according to Officer Frank Magos, a spokesperson for the Tucson Police Department.

Other shootings took place in the parking lot of a Waffle House in Newark, Delaware, during a party at an Oklahoma City restaurant, and outside an event center in Minneapolis.

Authorities continue to investigate these incidents.
