A dispute between two teachers at The SEED School of Miami escalated into violence inside a classroom, leading to their arrests on domestic violence battery charges.
According to a Miami-Dade Schools Police arrest affidavit obtained by Fox News Digital, 36-year-old Terrod Tiyan Torrence and Odiria Biggins were previously in a romantic relationship and share a child. Biggins told investigators that Torrence left a handwritten note on her desk asking to talk, to which she agreed. The meeting took place on July 17 in Classroom 119 at the school.
What began as a conversation quickly turned physical. Biggins reported to police that Torrence repeatedly punched her on the left side of the head and slammed her head into a wall, causing her to lose consciousness and collapse.
Torrence was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. At his court appearance, Judge Alicia Garcia Priovolos set a $2,000 bond and issued a pretrial no-contact order preventing Torrence from contacting Biggins.
Both teachers face charges related to the assault and an alleged pepper spray attack on school property.
