One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has confirmed that billionaire Gina Rinehart paid for her flights from London to Sicily, via Rome, during a European trip from July 11 to 16, 2026. Hanson updated her parliamentary register of interests on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, to disclose this information amid public scrutiny after being seen with Rinehart in Italy and attending a Dolce and Gabbana fashion show.

Hanson stated she personally paid for her accommodation, meals, and other daily expenses during the trip. However, she has not declared the flights from Australia to London as part of the gift registry update.

Previously, Hanson had declared various gifts from Rinehart and Hancock Prospecting, including interstate flights, hospitality, and a "bloody big orange bulldozer" gifted during a regional summit.

According to a document, a senior producer indicated that the program Spotlight intended for Hanson to meet UK Reform leader Nigel Farage in Britain, but the meeting fell through after Farage resigned from parliament around the scheduled time. Instead, Hanson participated in a podcast interview hosted by UK far-right activist Tommy Robinson, who has a criminal record including convictions for assault, fraud, and contempt of court.

A spokesperson for Seven stated the program only covered "incidentals" related to interactions with Robinson, such as a vehicle for production, a hotel room for filming, and security for staff while recording on UK streets.
