Sara Duffey, a TikTok influencer who publicly accused her estranged husband Jeremiah Shawn Duffey of being a pedophile, was found dead alongside him in Owasso, Oklahoma, on July 23, 2026. Authorities are investigating the incident as a murder-suicide.

A 911 dispatcher reported hearing a woman screaming and crying, followed by a loud bang, shortly before police arrived at the scene responding to a domestic violence call. The dispatcher was aware of the allegations against Jeremiah Shawn Duffey and was attempting to reach him at the time.

Sara Duffey, who also went by Sara Gilson, had posted on TikTok weeks earlier accusing her husband of sexual misconduct. On July 11, she posted a video captioned, "Preparing for when Netflix drops a documentary about my soon to be ex husband who I just found out is a pedophile."

Jeremiah Shawn Duffey, a basketball coach, had been reported to Owasso Police on June 9 by a parent and child accusing him of touching a female child during a school event. Additionally, another woman filed a protective order the same day, alleging he was seen "kissing and fondling" her 15-year-old daughter, a player on the youth basketball team he coached, according to The Oklahoman.

Owasso Police continue to investigate the deaths and the prior allegations against Jeremiah Shawn Duffey.
