Savannah Guthrie made an impassioned plea on Monday, July 27th, 2026, seeking information to help find her mother, Nancy, who disappeared six months ago after a masked intruder forced their way into her home and abducted the 84-year-old woman from her bed.
In a video posted to her Instagram, Guthrie addressed the emotional toll the disappearance has taken on her family. “We will always ache for her and feel that hole in our hearts,” she said.
Guthrie appealed directly to the person who may have information or be responsible, saying, “The world can be a cruel and unforgiving place and I know that you have tried to do things the right way. So I’m asking you, begging you, to do the right thing now - make the right choice, help us find her, tell us where to look for her.”
She expressed hope that it is never too late to do the right thing: “Help us bring this situation to an end.” Guthrie concluded with a message of compassion, stating, “For all of us, no matter where we’ve been and what we’ve done, I believe there is always a way home. Please - make the right choice.”
The family continues to seek closure and remains committed to finding Nancy.
