Amid these economic challenges, the White House has reportedly ordered 250 new Cadillac Escalades, luxury SUVs with a suggested retail price exceeding $90,000 each. These vehicles are expected to be customized for secure government use, potentially including armored versions that can cost more than $300,000. President Trump commented during a lengthy address at a General Motors facility in Michigan, saying, “That’s how we look sharp in those cavalcades, you know.” He also noted the large fuel capacity of the vehicles, mentioning the 24-gallon gas tank.

The announcement has drawn criticism on social media, with some highlighting the contrast between the government’s spending and the financial struggles of ordinary Americans.
