Ben Affleck, the Oscar-winning actor, teamed up with Jeopardy! champion Jamie Ding on the July 29, 2026 episode of Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, winning the US$1 million top prize for charity. The pair competed under host Jimmy Kimmel's watch and correctly answered the million-dollar question about the names of turkeys pardoned by a US president.

The final question asked which name had not been used in the annual Thanksgiving turkey pardoning tradition, with options including Peanut Butter and Jelly, Tater and Tot, Mac and Cheese, and Spaghetti and Meatball. After using their Phone-A-Friend lifeline to consult Ding's longtime trivia teammate Stephen Morrison, they confirmed the correct answer, securing the prize.

Affleck's winnings will benefit the Eastern Congo Initiative, a non-profit he co-founded with Whitney Williams in 2010 to support community-led organizations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This victory follows that of Affleck's longtime friend and collaborator Matt Damon, who won the top prize on the program last year with Jeopardy! legend Ken Jennings, donating their winnings to Water.org.

Affleck's appearance on the show comes amid a busy period in his career, including recent acting and producing projects such as The Accountant 2, and ongoing collaboration with Damon through their Artists Equity production company.
