Ukraine and Russia have continued to exchange attacks, resulting in casualties on both sides, according to local officials.
In Ukraine, two people were killed and three others injured in a Russian attack on the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk, regional military administration head Oleksandr Hanzha reported. Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian deep and mid-range strikes targeted Russian infrastructure, including logistics centres in Sarapul, Kazan, and Volgograd.
In Russia’s southern Rostov region, a drone attack injured a woman in the town of Gukovo, regional governor Yuri Slyusar said on Telegram.
Additionally, Ukraine has hit Russian oil refineries multiple times, while Russia struck a cargo vessel near Odesa.
Following attacks on Thursday, Wildberries announced it had provided a second tranche of financial support to nearly 100,000 sellers whose goods were damaged.
Other developments include NATO jets scrambling after a Russian missile detonated in Poland and discussions on how US Senate Russia sanctions could impact tariffs for India and China.
