He described the situation as a "catastrophe," likening it to an invasion by hundreds of thousands of people.

Trump warned that the United States could face a similar or even worse migrant influx if Democrats regain power. "And that same thing is going to happen to us if the Republicans don't get elected," he said, emphasizing that despite having built thousands of miles of border wall, the country remains vulnerable.

He criticized the current administration, stating, "The biggest thing, the worst thing that Biden did is allowing 25 million people into our country, because many of those people are criminals. They're murderers. A lot of them are gone now. We got them out. But they allowed people to come into this country that you can't allow to come into a country."

Trump also noted that the migrant crisis in Spain would become a talking point for the upcoming midterm elections, saying, "When you look at what happened to Spain, they don't know what to do. And it's happening again today."

Meanwhile, Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez posted on X (formerly Twitter) that his government would "guarantee the safety of the residents of Ceuta, intensifying the presence of the Security Forces and Corps on the city's streets." Around 60,000 migrants reportedly crossed from Morocco to Ceuta in the past 24 hours, according to Cueta President Juan Jesús Vivas.

The Cabinet meeting included Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, who were present as Trump made these remarks.
