An explosion occurred near a cafe in Kudrinskaya Square, Moscow, on the evening of Saturday, August 1st, 2026, killing at least three people and injuring fifteen others, according to Moscow police. The blast took place at about 8:10 pm local time near Building 1 on Kudrinskaya Square, as stated by the Interior Ministry on the Russian social media platform Max.

Moscow police informed the state news agency Ria Novosti that the injured sustained varying degrees of seriousness.
