The weather forecaster also noted thundery showers over the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Additionally, an area of low pressure is causing unsettled weather in the seas east of the Philippines.

Temperatures in the region are forecast to range between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius on Sunday, August 2nd. The Observatory indicated that more showers with thunderstorms are expected on Monday, August 3rd, followed by a few showers in the subsequent days.
