Nicki Minaj escalated her criticism of Anthony Fauci, the former White House COVID-19 advisor, by sharing a satirical video and a series of social media posts following his recent Senate testimony.
On Friday, August 1st, 2026, Minaj posted a video filmed in near darkness in which she impersonated Fauci writing in a diary. The parody included lines such as, "Dear Diary, well the press is hot for me," and "They say I'm sexier than Tyra Banks. Julia Roberts gasped when she saw how handsome I was. Brad Pitt played me on 'SNL.'"
She also criticized the pandemic's impact, stating, "Never mind that I sent millions of children back years on their education ... the elderly are alone and afraid, dying by themselves," before adding, "If anyone asks questions, me and my gang ruins their lives."
Minaj mocked government COVID-19 booster recommendations with the line, "They started telling yall to get a new booster shot every 5 to 10 business days like it was the new Jordans droppin?!?!!!!!!! That's when I knew. I went in my backyard & started building the Arc. Nicki's Arc. I know the Lord won't send another flood but still."
The video followed Fauci's appearance before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on July 29, 2026, where he invoked the Fifth Amendment over 100 times during questioning about his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Minaj's parody highlights her disapproval of Fauci's pandemic leadership and its effects on children, the elderly, and families.
