A South Florida entrepreneur, Claudia Mosley, founder of CeraViva, has introduced handcrafted edible candles designed to melt into warm dipping sauces and dessert spreads, offering diners a unique culinary experience. Mosley described the product as more than just a candle, stating, "The product is not really the candle. The product is the experience that you're giving your guests."

Made with organic and premium ingredients, these edible candles are crafted to complement bread, vegetables, seafood, meats, or desserts. They are sweet but not overly so, aiming to enhance a variety of dishes.

Born in Colombia, Mosley immigrated to the United States as a teenager and previously built a successful merchant services company with her identical twin sister before launching CeraViva. She has invested over $20,000 into the business, securing state licenses, moving production to a commercial kitchen, and developing a patented formula that withstands shipping and refrigeration.

Consumers can purchase the candles for $38 directly from CeraViva's website, but Mosley’s primary goal is to place them on restaurant tables nationwide. Diners would order the edible candle as an appetizer before their meal, allowing 20 to 25 minutes for it to melt into a warm dipping sauce while they socialize.

Mosley emphasized the broader trend in the restaurant industry, noting, "Every restaurant is looking for an experience," highlighting how her product fits into this pursuit.
