United States Senator Bernie Moreno has broken his silence regarding domestic abuse allegations against Representative Max Miller, his former son-in-law. On Sunday, Moreno stated in a social media post that Miller is unfit to serve in Congress and should "seek professional help" to address a "clear pattern of abuse."

Emily Moreno, Bernie Moreno’s daughter and Max Miller’s ex-wife, has accused Miller of hitting, threatening, and throwing scalding water on her during their marriage. These allegations have led to increasing pressure on Miller to resign from the House of Representatives.

Bernie Moreno emphasized, "He should not serve in the House of Representatives. I believe Max Miller needs to seek professional help to end the clear pattern of abuse he has left in his wake."

In response, Miller reportedly launched a "bizarre and lie-filled rant" against his ex-wife in an attempt to salvage his political career, according to Mychajliw, who also stated there is "a documented trove of evidence that Miller has a history of violent and dangerous behavior and no amount of victim shaming will change that."

This development comes amid other political events, including a notable Senate win for Abdul El-Sayed despite opposition from AIPAC, and ongoing debates around the origins of COVID during Senate hearings involving Dr. Fauci.
