TOKYO — Japanese oil major Eneos Holdings is set to increase its growth investments to approximately 1 trillion yen ($6.36 billion) globally. This move follows its recent acquisition of businesses from Chevron and targets the development of a supply chain in Southeast Asia, alongside fostering energy cooperation between the region and Japan.
The company also plans to ramp up acquisitions in Southeast Asia and North America, leveraging its recent Southeast Asian acquisitions to play a significant role in a government-led energy cooperation initiative.
This strategic investment underscores Eneos's ambition to strengthen its global presence and contribute to regional energy collaboration.
