Scott Eastwood recently revealed on the "Armchair Expert" podcast how his father, Clint Eastwood, once asked Kevin Costner to leave the set of the film "A Perfect World" after Costner refused to come out of his trailer.

The 40-year-old actor described the incident as a "legendary story," explaining that during the filming, Costner, who was experiencing a rise to fame and possibly a big ego, did not want to leave his trailer for a scene. Clint Eastwood, who directed and starred in the film, calmly responded, "Well send him home then," despite Costner being scheduled for the scene that day.

Scott emphasized that his father never raised his voice on set and that everyone had "a lot of respect" for him. He also reflected on his own experiences growing up around film sets, noting on an episode of the "Joe Rogan Experience" that he was fortunate to witness the realities behind some behaviors on modern movie sets. Additionally, Scott praised his father for protecting him and his siblings from the challenges associated with child stardom.
