Scott Eastwood recently opened up about a notable incident on the set of the film A Perfect World, where his father, Clint Eastwood, directed and starred alongside Kevin Costner.

In an interview on the "Armchair Expert" podcast, the 40-year-old actor described how Costner, during his rise to fame, reportedly refused to leave his trailer for a scheduled scene. Scott Eastwood recounted, "Kevin Costner sort of going through maybe, the Kevin Costner rise to fame and maybe got a big ego, you know, blah blah blah, but they were doing 'Perfect World.' Apparently, he didn't want to come out of his trailer for some reason."

Clint Eastwood's response was notably calm and firm. According to Scott, his father said, "Well send him home then," despite Costner being needed for the scene they were filming that day. Scott emphasized that his father never raised his voice on set, earning "a lot of respect" from everyone involved.

Reflecting on his experiences growing up around film sets, Scott also told the "Joe Rogan Experience" in June that he was fortunate to witness firsthand the realities behind certain behaviors on modern movie sets. He noted that his father did "a really good job of protecting" him and his siblings from the challenges associated with child stardom.
