Scott Eastwood recently opened up about a notable incident on the set of the film "A Perfect World," where his father, Clint Eastwood, directed and starred alongside Kevin Costner.

In an interview on the "Armchair Expert" podcast, the 40-year-old actor said everyone on set had "a lot of respect" for Clint Eastwood, who "didn't raise his voice ever" while working. Eastwood shared a "legendary story" about a moment when Costner, then rising in fame and possibly carrying a big ego, refused to come out of his trailer during filming.

"Apparently, he didn't want to come out of his trailer for some reason," Scott Eastwood said. Despite Costner being scheduled for the scene they were working on that day, Clint Eastwood calmly responded, "Well send him home then."

Scott Eastwood reflected on his experiences growing up around film sets, telling the "Joe Rogan Experience" in June that he was fortunate to witness how some behaviors on modern movie sets are "bulls---." He also praised his father for protecting him and his siblings from the challenges of child stardom.

This story highlights Clint Eastwood's authoritative yet composed approach to directing and managing talent on set.
