Scott Eastwood recently opened up on the "Armchair Expert" podcast about a memorable incident on the set of the 1993 film "A Perfect World," directed by and starring his father, Clint Eastwood.

The 40-year-old actor explained that everyone on set had "a lot of respect" for Clint Eastwood, who "didn't raise his voice ever" while working. He recounted a "legendary story" involving Kevin Costner, who was also starring in the film. According to Scott, Costner was going through a rise to fame and "maybe got a big ego," and during filming, he "didn't want to come out of his trailer for some reason."

Clint Eastwood's response was straightforward and calm: "Well send him home then," despite Costner being scheduled for the scene they were working on that day. Scott described this as an example of his father's firm but composed leadership on set.

Reflecting on his experiences growing up around movie sets, Scott said on the "Joe Rogan Experience" in June that he was "lucky in some ways because I got to see it growing up and got to see like how it's bulls---" regarding certain behaviors on modern movie sets. He also noted that Clint Eastwood "did a really good job of protecting" him and his siblings from the pitfalls of child stardom.
