Scott Eastwood recently revealed a notable incident involving his father, Clint Eastwood, and actor Kevin Costner during the filming of the 1993 movie "A Perfect World."

In an interview on the "Armchair Expert" podcast, the 40-year-old actor described how everyone on set had "a lot of respect" for Clint Eastwood, who "didn't raise his voice ever" while working. Eastwood shared a "legendary story" about a moment when Costner, who was experiencing a rise to fame and possibly a growing ego, refused to leave his trailer.

"Apparently, he didn't want to come out of his trailer for some reason," Scott Eastwood said. Despite Costner being scheduled for a scene that day, Clint Eastwood, who directed and starred in the film, reportedly responded with, "Well send him home then."

Scott Eastwood also reflected on his experiences growing up around film sets, telling the "Joe Rogan Experience" in June that he was fortunate to witness firsthand the realities behind some behaviors on modern movie sets. He credited his father with doing "a really good job of protecting" him and his siblings from the pitfalls associated with child stardom.
