Switzerland Maintains Largest Network of Nuclear Bunkers Worldwide

Switzerland, known for its neutral stance, has the largest number of nuclear bomb shelters in the world, with more than 370,000 such facilities across the country. Rather than dismantling its Cold War-era network of bomb shelters, Switzerland continued to build and maintain them. In recent times, some of these shelters have been repurposed to house migrants.
