Good Things, a staple summer festival on Australia's east coast, has announced its return for December 2026 with a lineup packed with metal, punk, emo, rock, and more. The seventh edition will showcase both local and international artists across multiple stages.

Limp Bizkit, often regarded as a defining nu-metal band, will headline the festival. This marks their first return to Australia since headlining Good Things and sideshows in 2023. Fronted by Fred Durst, Limp Bizkit rose to fame in the late 1990s with a fusion of rock, metal, and rap, producing hits such as "Nookie," "Break Stuff," "Rollin," and the "Mission: Impossible 2" theme "Take A Look Around." The band has maintained much of its original lineup nearly 30 years after forming, releasing six albums popular among those who experienced the emo phase of the 2000s.

Limp Bizkit's history in Australia includes their 2001 performance at the Sydney Big Day, where 16-year-old Jessica Michalik tragically died. In 2012, at the Soundwave festival—their first Australian shows in 11 years—Durst dedicated their performance to Jessica Michalik and was joined by her father, George Michalik.

Swedish punk band Millencolin will also perform, playing their 2000 album "Pennybridge Pioneers," known internationally with songs featured in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video games and triple j's Hottest 100.

Additionally, The All-American Rejects will return to Australia for the first time in over 17 years, after withdrawing from last year's Good Things festival.

The festival continues to celebrate a broad range of genres and eras, reinforcing its status as a key event in Australia's summer music calendar.
