These races are pivotal, with a top-tier Senate showdown in Minnesota among a dozen nationwide contests that will influence whether Democrats can regain control of the Senate from the GOP. Meanwhile, Wisconsin's gubernatorial race is a crucial swing-state contest where Republicans aim to flip the governor's mansion.

In Wisconsin, Francesca Hong, a state representative and member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), leads the Democratic gubernatorial primary.
