Israeli forces continued their operations in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, arresting at least 23 Palestinians and demolishing several homes. The United Nations warned that the situation in the territory had reached a "breaking point".

The arrests included two children, one with a disability, and a man detained while grazing livestock in al-Hadidiyah in the northern Jordan Valley, according to the Palestinian Wafa news agency. Israeli settlers also carried out attacks and raids on Palestinian villages, notably in Khirbet ar-Ras al-Ahmar, where parts of a main water pipeline were destroyed, cutting off water to 30 Palestinian herding families and nearby farms.

In the village of Tal, southwest of Nablus, Israeli forces demolished the family home of Farouq Ramadan, one of four Palestinians killed during a confrontation with Israeli settlers on July 24.

So far this year, Israeli forces and settlers have killed 76 Palestinians, including 18 children, and displaced about 3,800 Palestinians—nearly half of them children—due to settler violence, demolitions, and evictions.

Concerns also mount over the integrity of Israel's upcoming October elections, while groups like The Elders accuse Israel of "trying to make Palestine disappear."
