Justin Sislo, 35, is accused of killing his parents, Steve Sislo, 76, and Donna Walker-Sislo, 72, in a suspected murder-suicide at their home on McCormick Road in Madison, New York, on Friday, August 7th, 2026, deputies confirmed to Fox News Digital.
The Madison County Sheriff's Office reported that while observing the residence from outside, the first responding deputy saw two adult subjects deceased through a main level window. Upon entering the home, a third adult subject was found deceased inside.
Authorities said the couple had recently paid $10,000 to bail out their son after he was arrested on charges related to a domestic violence case in which he faced around two dozen charges. Court records reveal Sislo was charged with strangulation and endangering an incompetent person in Cayuga County in June 2026.
Steve Sislo was a prominent businessman and philanthropist involved in local organizations including the Capitol Theatre and the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce, according to the Rome Daily Sentinel.
Madison County Sheriff Todd Hood condemned the fact that Sislo had been out of jail, stating the man should have been locked up given his violent history and numerous arrests.
