Kellan Lutz, known for his role in the "Twilight" series, revealed in an interview on "Inside of You" with Michael Rosenbaum that he and his family moved from Orange County, California, to Franklin, Tennessee, three years ago following the pandemic.
Lutz explained that the move was prompted by his wife Brittany Lutz’s need for a support system after their second child was born. His wife’s family had also decided to leave California, and the couple followed them to Tennessee to ensure she would not be left alone with their children when he travels for work.
"The whole Tennessee move happened when we had our second kid," Lutz said. He expressed affection for California but noted the practical benefits of their new home.
The family acquired land in Tennessee and became involved in local Bible studies, churches, and community activities, which Lutz described as "great."
Despite the move, Brittany hopes to eventually return to California or maintain a bi-coastal lifestyle.
Lutz’s decision reflects a broader trend of families relocating from California to other states in search of community and support post-pandemic.
