American football star Travis Kelce has opened up about his wedding to singer Taylor Swift, describing their July 3rd nuptials at New York's Madison Square Garden as "the best night of my life."

The couple's ceremony, officiated by comedic actor Adam Sandler, was a private, star-studded event with attendance from Hollywood A-listers including Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Benson Boone, and Gigi Hadid. Despite the high-profile guest list, few details and no official photos from the event have been released.

Speaking at the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp in Missouri, Kelce said, "It was kind of cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married there." He thanked guests for attending and called the night "a crazy night."

Kelce also publicly referred to Swift as his wife for the first time, mentioning that she attended a New York Knicks game during the NBA Finals last year while he was occupied with a mini camp. Swift sat courtside at Game 4, where the Knicks achieved a narrow 107-106 upset victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

The NFL star expressed regret at missing the game himself, saying, "My wife went when I was stuck in a mini camp so I didn't get my opportunity to go then."

No further details about the wedding have been shared, maintaining the couple's preference for privacy around the event.
