TOKYO — The Asia-Pacific region's financial services industry is projected to overtake that of the United States in terms of economic value generated, reaching up to $4.8 trillion, according to a report by international accounting firm Deloitte.
The report forecasts that by 2035, Asia-Pacific will become the largest contributor of financial services value added globally. This growth is attributed to the region's expanding economy and rising wealth, with China expected to lead in scale and innovation.
These findings highlight the shifting dynamics in the global financial landscape, emphasizing Asia-Pacific's increasing influence over the coming decade.
