An airport worker tragically lost their life on Monday, August 26, 2026, after being struck by an Airbus A350 operated by French Bee at YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport in Quebec, Canada. The employee, who was not identified by officials, worked for the ground-handling company Samsic.

The incident happened during ground operations ahead of the departure of Flight BF5761 to Paris-Orly. French Bee stated that the accident occurred during the aircraft's pushback operation, though the exact circumstances "remain to be established."

French Bee expressed its deepest condolences to the individual’s family and loved ones and extended support to colleagues and all teams affected by the event. The airline is fully cooperating with Canadian authorities and providing all necessary assistance to support the ongoing investigation.

Yves Beauchamp, president and CEO of ADM, also commented on the incident. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has been involved in the investigation.
