David Johnson, 58, a pastor and massage therapist from Ojai, California, has been charged with six felony counts of child molestation involving two children under the age of 14, according to the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors allege that Johnson molested the children over several years at locations in Ojai and Oxnard. Johnson had access to the victims through a familial relationship, the district attorney’s office said.

Special allegations involving substantial sexual conduct and the victims being under 14 years old have also been filed by prosecutors.

Johnson pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was arrested shortly before 3 p.m. on August 27, 2026, and was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail later that evening.

Investigators are actively seeking additional victims and have urged anyone with information about Johnson or other possible unreported crimes to come forward.
