Six months after a US missile strike on an Iranian school killed at least 170 people, most of them children, the families of the victims are still grappling with their loss. Parents frequently return to the ruins of the school and visit the graves of their loved ones. Despite the passage of time, questions regarding accountability for the strike remain unanswered.
The tragic event continues to cast a long shadow over the affected communities in Iran, underscoring the enduring human cost of the attack.
