Robert Lee, North America president at LG Energy Solution, has reflected on the rise of Asian Americans in the industrial sector over the last three decades, while noting that the sector still lags in Asian representation. Lee, who previously served as LG Energy Solution's global chief strategy officer, was the first president of L-H Battery, a joint venture between LG Energy Solution and Honda. He has also held leadership roles as CEO of Continental AG North America and SK Continental Emotion. Earlier in his career, Lee co-founded several technology companies and worked as a management consultant for Boston Consulting Group.

Despite progress, Lee's insights underscore that Asian representation in the industrial sector remains limited. His experience across major companies in North America and Asia provides a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities for Asian Americans in this field.
