Justin Baldoni and his wife, Emily, broke their silence on Wednesday night regarding the legal dispute with Blake Lively that has persisted for two years. The couple posted a lengthy video on Instagram detailing the "injustice" and "trauma" they have experienced during this period.

Justin Baldoni opened the video by saying, "We have not spoken publicly for the better part of the last two years, and it’s not because we haven’t had anything to say. Because lord knows we have, but it just felt like every time we went to make a video like this, we wanted to speak, something was telling us not to. It just didn’t feel like the right time, and we were talking about it and feeling into it and praying about it."

The legal battle originated from the production of the 2024 movie "It Ends With Us." Rumors of tension arose during the film's press tour when Baldoni promoted the movie separately from Blake Lively and the rest of the cast. In December 2024, Lively filed a complaint and later a federal lawsuit alleging that Baldoni sexually harassed her on set and, after she raised concerns, orchestrated a campaign to damage her reputation.

Currently, the only remaining issue before the court is Lively's request for approximately $8 million in attorney's fees and litigation costs, which Baldoni is contesting.

The Baldonis, married since 2013, also expressed immense gratitude for the support they have received and provided an update on their lives two years after the legal battle began.
